ABOUT AGWARAGI
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, Who taught by the pen, elevated nations through
knowledge, and made learning the light of minds and the foundation of
civilisations. May peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad (peace
and blessings be upon him), and upon his family and companions altogether.
To proceed:
Civilisations are not immortalised merely by buildings and structures; rather,
they endure through productive thought, beneficial knowledge, and sound
scholarly research. Among the noblest vessels of such intellectual heritage are
peer-reviewed academic journals, which carry the torches of knowledge,
connect the األمة’s heritage with its present, and contribute to shaping its
future.
From this perspective emerged the “Agurug Journal of Arabic Studies”,
published by the Department of Arabic Language at Zamfara State University,
to serve as an authentic scholarly platform and a promising beacon of
knowledge. The journal is devoted to the service of the Arabic language, its
literature, and the humanities, grounding its mission in academic objectivity,
rigorous peer review, and methodological precision.
It is our sincere hope that the journal will continue to fulfil its scholarly
mission and remain a trusted reference for researchers and students alike,
attracting original research and serious academic studies, while contributing to
the enrichment of knowledge and the advancement of the Arabic language in
its various fields.
This journal was born out of a blessed scholarly vision and has been nurtured
by a number of scholars and academics who believed in its mission and
devoted their expertise and efforts to its establishment. Thus, it stands as the
fruit of their sincerity and dedication to knowledge and its people. By the will
of Allah, it shall remain committed to the values of academic integrity and
objectivity, faithful to the principles upon which it was founded.
Today, the “Agurug Journal” appears before its readers in a form that
combines the authenticity of print publication with the opportunities of
electronic publishing, keeping pace with the rapid transformations in
knowledge. It seeks to broaden its reach and impact, strengthen its presence within the academic sphere, and preserve its scholarly mission and firmly
established standards.
As we place this issue into the hands of our esteemed readers, we hope they
will find within it material that enriches thought, develops knowledge, and
serves the language of Ḍād — the language of the Noble Qur’an and the
heritage of Islamic civilisation.
In conclusion, we extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the
members of the editorial board, the reviewers, the researchers, and all those
who have contributed to supporting this scholarly institution. We pray tha
Allah Almighty bless these efforts, grant the “Agurug Journal” further
success, wider recognition, and distinction, and make it a platform for
beneficial knowledge and sound intellectual discourse.
And Allah is the Granter of success.
